The second phase of new homes will retain many of the distinctive features of the first phase of homes at The Hangar District.

The plans for the new phase – created by award-winning local architects, Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios – aim to foster a strong sense of community.

As such, the new homes are designed on a network of ‘living streets’, with residents able to enjoy expanded access to outdoor spaces that bring people together, including shared gardens, public squares and play areas for children.

The houses themselves feature picture windows to maximise natural light and incorporate clever layouts and sustainable features as standard.

The phase will exclude gas-based heating entirely, instead utilising air source heat pumps to reduce reliance on natural resources.

Construction on this next phase of new homes is scheduled to begin in Summer 2023, with the first homes scheduled for completion in 2025.
